How to Prepare for Your Online Consultation

Here are some tips to help you make the most of your online consultation:

  1. Find a private, quiet room for your session to ensure uninterrupted communication, if possible.

  2. Ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working properly.

  3. We may ask you to demonstrate the range of motion in the painful area, so please make sure you have enough space.

  4. Wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movements, if possible.

What to Expect During Your Consultation:

  • When you join us in the virtual room via the provided link, the physiotherapist will begin by asking you a series of questions to understand your injury. These questions may include personal and medical history to ensure a precise diagnosis. If some questions seem unrelated, please understand they help us form a complete picture of your condition.

  • Since physical examination is not possible in a virtual consultation, the Q&A session is crucial for accurate diagnosis.

  • After gathering the necessary information, we will guide you through some movements of the injured area. Don't worry, we will provide clear instructions throughout this process.

  • We will explain your condition in simple terms.

  • If time permits, we will guide you through some exercises. Ideally, we would like to observe you performing these exercises to provide live feedback and correct your technique if needed. You may need space to lie down for this, but don't worry if you don't have enough room—we will adapt as necessary.

  • Finally, we will send you an exercise program, so there is no need to stress about remembering the exercises.

We hope you find this information helpful and look forward to seeing you in the session! 😊

Please get in touch if you have any further questions.
